HOW TO NAIL VALENTINE'S DAY AT MIZZOU

February 12, 2018

Valentine's Day is a tricky holiday. Up until my recent relationship, I've absolutely despised the sappy, superficial, sentimental day filled with heart-shaped chocolate boxes and unpleasant reminders. At least when I was single (what a dark time indeed).

To those of you single folks reading this—there is HOPE for a better Valentine's ahead! In the meantime, don't be afraid to go all out for Galentine's Day. In high school, mine typically consisted of having a sleepover with my best friends, jamming to Tay-Sway, eating chocolate covered strawberries and pouring our hearts out over guys who barely knew we existed; with the exception of maybe the "pouring our hearts our part," Galentine's Day was THE BEST.

And this year, the new 50 Shades movie is coming out next week...just saying...

For those of you who are happily in a relationship and attend the University of Missouri, I compiled a list of fun date places to attend last year for The Tab that you may find helpful.

Meg and I briefly mentioned some of these ideas on our latest podcast, but the full list of date inspo can be found below in this article I wrote for The Tab.

So, for those hopeless romantic tigers out there, who said love can't happen at Mizzou After Dark?
